The first gift is from Sandra. This is such a great idea. I love it! Ingredients for brownies and I assure you I will be making these later today! Thanks so much Sandra!

The next gift is from Wilma. Isn't this the cutest little bag and check out the goodies inside! I love chocolate - thanks Wilma!

This gift is from Sandra. I love candles so this gift is perfect for me! Thank you. I have wanted to try making one of these and I haven't gotten around to it so this is a real treat!

24 Days of Christmas - Day 8!!

I have to tell you, opening one of these gifts each day is so much fun and I am simply amazed at the wonderful gifts I am receiving. I feel very fortunate to have so many talented friends.

Tania Green made this beautiful candle holder for us. She used tape from the hardware store and ran it through the big shot using the snowflake die! How creative is that! Imagine what this will look like when the candle is lit! In fact, I'm heading upstairs to light it right now! Thanks so much Tania!

24 Days of Christmas - Day 6!!

Take a look at what Amanda made!

This is the perfect gift for my purse so that I can keep track of who I have bought Christmas gifts for and who I haven't!! I love the way she decorated the front and even made a "Holiday Planner" tag. I'm thinking she did this using MDS! Very creative - thanks so much Amanda!

Stay tuned for tomorrow where I show Day 7!

All I can say is wow! Dion, you out did yourself! When I opened this I was 100 percent certain it was a cupcake made out of marshmallows and I even pulled at it to rip it apart and eat! Imagine my surprise when I realized it was a pair of socks! Not just any socks either, warm fuzzy pink ones! Thank you so much!

You are so creative!!!

Look at these pictures! Dion even punched out little circles which looked like chocolate on the top! I love the tag too! Enjoy and stay tuned for Day 6 tomorrow!

24 Days of Christmas - Day 3!!

Today was the day my gift got opened so I will show you some pictures. Also, my upline, Donna, prepared a gift for me to open on my day. However, if I post pictures of it now, I could ruin the surprise for the rest of my team mates so I will wait until December 24th to post. I will tell you this, it was a real gem!!

I purchased the instructions for making these great little gift boxes from Becky. She is one talented lady!

Enjoy! Oh by they way, I filled them with 3 chocolates each but I forgot to take a picture with the completed box AND the chocolates!!

24 Days of Christmas!

Our Artful Inker's team is doing a 24 days of Christmas swap. We each made 24 items and swapped with one another so that on each day in December we get to open a different homemade gift! How sweet is that!

Well today is day 1 and look what I got from Samantha!!! I just love the snowman, he's so darn cute and then inside was this beautiful Christmas star ornament. You can bet it will be hanging on my tree when I decorate it this weekend! Thanks so much Samantha.

Stop by again tomorrow for day 2's surprise!

What Have I Been Busy Doing????

Long time since I posted! I have been working on the Artful Inker's Christmas swaps. I made 24 of these and they don't look like much on the outside but the inside is quite nice if I do say so myself!!! It's taken a few weeks to finish them all but I'm pleased with the end result. Our dinner and exchange is this Thursday and I am looking forward to it!

Now that these are finished I can proceed with making my Christmas cards so stay tuned for more posts soon!

Sorry for the lousy picture but we are off to Toronto to do some shopping and see "Rock of Ages" so I am rushing here!

Happy Stamping,
Michelle

As promised, here are some pictures of my new craft room! I love it! Thanks to DH for all his help!

I still have some organizing to do - especially my paper but I will get to that after Christmas because I have so many projects on the go, I need to spend my time crafting right now!

Missing in Action!

Hello Stampers!

I have spent the past week moving my craft room from the loft to our basement! 3 flights of stairs - argh! However, it was worth it because I have so much more room and I have a TV and a fireplace to boot! I will post pictures tomorrow!

Here is a Christmas card I made for a recent swap. The flower is made using a 7" piece of ribbon and gathering it with a needle and thread and tying it together - simple! I love this SU! snowflake embossing folder - it's so pretty!

Recipe: All supplies SU! Poppy Parade CS, Whisper White CS, pearls, snowflake embossing folder, scallop trim border punch, decorative strip - northern frost, scallop punch and the sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes!

Welcome Christmas!

I cased this card but I can't remember from who! If it was you, please let me know so I can give credit where it is due!

The only thing I really changed was the Christmas tree stamp set. I used Season of Joy which is definitely one of my favourite Christmas sets. I am also in love with Cherry Cobbler - I have used this colour so much in the past few weeks, I've had to re-order it twice! The sentiment is from "Heard From the Heart". I also embossed the cherry cobbler cardstock with the petals-a-plenty embossing folder.

Enjoy!

Recipe: All SU! Cherry Cobbler CS, Whisper White CS, Pear Pizzazz CS, Heard from the Heart stamp set, Season of Joy stamp set, Owl punch (for the heart), Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder and dazzling diamonds glitter.

Sneak Peak!

Sorry I haven't posted in the past week. I have been very busy preparing gifts for the Artful Inkers Christmas gift exchange. I have 24 items to make and I have received an order for another 8 of them. I can't tell you what they are but I can give you a sneak peak!

This flower is made using the Fancy Flower SU! punch. Soooo easy! I just punched out 6 in different colours (cherry cobbler, always artichoke and some DP). I then sprayed them with a spritzer bottle filled with 50% rubbing alcohol and a few drops of SU's! champagne mist shimmer paint, they you scrunch them all up (yes that's right squish em' up)! and then folder them back out. Then place them one on top of the other, punch a hole in the middle, add a brad to keep them together and fluff em up by starting with the first flower and squishing towards the middle!

Isn't it pretty? Enjoy!

All supplies are SU!

I better rush off. I need to make a nacho dip and cut up some veggies to take to my sister's for this afternoon's appetizers.

Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends!!

Cute Christmas Treat Box

Two posts in one day - I'm on a roll! LOL!

I found instructions for this cute little box on the internet but unfortunately I cannot remember where. It was so simple to make.

I used SU! DP Jolly Holiday - I have gotten so much use out of this. It even has a handle which I made using the extra large round tab punch.

All supplies are SU!
